Q: Why should I use Portal Claims?

The claims process is often portrayed as a simple one but through the years we have seen some really dirty tricks played by big corporations. We feel that putting these big corporate companies in charge of their own complaints process is a bit like putting the fox in charge of the chicken coop!

You can only win a claim if the rules surrounding the sale of the policy were broken. To make a claim a complaint has to be put to the company who sold it to you. They will then investigate to see if they broke the rules or not. At Portal Claims we offer an unbiased, straight forward service and will support you every step of the way.

If the initial complaint is not upheld, we can take your case to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) for arbitration. The FOS will independently assess the details of your complaint and decide whether your complaint should be upheld. However, you may need to be patient, as the FOS currently has heavy workloads, due to the thousands of mis-selling complaints they are receiving about these products.
