Endowment Mortgage FAQ's
Endowment advice, what should I do?
If you have an endowment, the first thing you need is expert endowment
advice and information. That's what you get from Portal Claims, but in order for
us to offer you sound endowment advice, you need to
apply for a pack online or call our claims hotline so we can understand
your specific position.
How our endowment advice works:
Endowment compensation is offered to people who were mis-sold their
endowment policies. You need informed endowment advice that confirms that you were
mis-sold in the first place. And you need endowment advice on how to make a claim
and follow it through to compensation.
Our experienced claims team need to look at the specific circumstances
of your policy before they can offer you sound endowment advice.
This is how our service works:
Once you have contacted us we will send you an endowment compensation
information pack. You must return this as quickly as possible. We will then assess
your individual claim free of charge (we only charge a fee when we win compensation)
and provide you with the critical endowment advice you need - have you got a claim?
If our expert endowment advice is yes - you do have a claim, we'll
then write to the advising firm, beginning formal proceedings and preventing them
from time-barring your claim. (We can offer you endowment advice on time-barring
now.)
We'll then manage your claim through to negotiation and compensation,
or refusal and appeal until we get you the outcome you deserve.
