Mr R. Edwards, Midlands
“Following
professional help provided by Endowmentclaims.com, my wife and I were awarded almost
£10,000 by our mortgage provider as compensation for an unsuitable mortgage.
We were extremely pleased with the services provided by Endowmentclaims.com and
the speed with which the settlement was reached.” back to top
Mr S. Boulding - Think you can’t
make a claim?… think again!
Mr S. Boulding is just one example of the many people we have successfully
helped to make a claim against mis-selling:
- He paid £6,000 into his endowment policy over a three-year
period, and when it started to perform badly he decided to cash it in
- He had lost nearly 90 per cent of the amount he had paid in and
came away with £500
- Endowmentclaims.com advised Mr Boulding that he had grounds for
a claim, as when he took out his endowment policy he was assured it would cover
his mortgage, as well as provide an additional lump sum at the end
- The claim was successful and he was awarded £6,000

Steve
and Lynne win back £4,300 on endowment mortgage shortfall
Steve and Lynne won back £4,300 on their endowment mortgage
shortfall using our services
- When they took out their policy they were led to believe on a number
of occasions that this would not only pay back their mortgage in full, but they
would also receive an extra, tax free, lump sum
- When the stock market crashed they had to put all their plans on
hold
- Steve contacted Endowmentclaims.com and filled in a simple questionnaire
with our support
- We acted as a mediator between Steve and his financial adviser
and Steve was subsequently awarded £4,300 in compensation
Steve comments: “I wouldn’t have made a complaint if
I hadn’t had professional help, as I didn’t have the time or want the
hassle of researching into it all and pursuing the claim. The chances are I would
have hired a financial advisor to help me and if we had lost it would have still
cost me money, whereas with Endowmentclaims.com it was a no-win no-fee arrangement.”
Anyone who has an endowment mortgage, and is facing a shortfall, has a strong opportunity
to make a claim, so don’t delay - act today. back to top
Mr G. Godfrey: Endowmentclaims.com takes
appeal case to FOS and wins £5,600
Believing he had been mis-sold his endowment mortgage, Mr Godfrey
turned to Endowmentclaims.com for help. When Abbey Life initially rejected the claim,
the specialist claims handling company took his case to the Financial Ombudsman
Service (FOS). His appeal was successful and he was awarded £5,600 in compensation
in 2005.
Mr Godfrey states: “Endowmentclaims.com contacted Abbey Life
on my behalf, and shortly after I received the compensation forms through. I submitted
my claim to the insurer, however it was rejected straight away. Endowmentclaims.com
advised me that Abbey Life didn’t have the grounds to throw out my case, and
that they would appeal to the FOS on my behalf.”
“It took about three months for a decision to be made, but my appeal was successful
and I received £5,600 in compensation, less Endowmentclaims.com fees. If I
hadn’t used professional help, I would have quit when I hit the first hurdle.
I certainly wouldn’t have taken my case to the FOS and won my appeal.”

Ms Winterbottom: Advisers earn
113 million a year from mis-sold endowments
Ms Winterbottom, a housewife from Cardiff, was mis-sold an endowment
mortgage by a salesmen linked to Halifax in the 1990s. She was told that her endowment,
from Standard Life, would not only pay off her mortgage but provide a lump sum on
top. At no time were the risks pointed out.
Then Ms Winterbottom received a letter from Standard Life saying
her endowment could fall 18,000 pounds short of the 37,000 pounds she needed to
pay off her mortgage.
She successfully made a claim for mis-selling, with the help of
Endowmentclaims.com, and received compensation.
Ms Winterbottom had no idea her adviser had been receiving commission
every time she paid her premiums. She said: 'I'm shocked that the adviser has been
paid commission even after it had been proved that he mis-sold me the policy.'
